Sleeve is a part of a garment that covers all or some part of an arm. The pattern of the sleeve is one of the characteristics of fashion in dress. Sleeve is the main decoration part in our garments. For the garments pattern design various types of sleeves are widely used for both men and women, such as: long sleeve, short sleeve, kimono sleeve, etc.
Different parts of sleeve lengths are normally used in garments pattern. Sleeve lengths are mainly depends on the garments design and buyer needs. Different parts of sleeve lengths are pictured in below:

The sleeve is attached to an armhole shaped to extend wider than the natural shoulder.
Extension to the front and back of the garment to cover the top of the arm.
Sleeve length ending about half the distance between elbow and underarm.
Any style sleeve that ends at the elbow.
Three-quarter length cuff less sleeve to show bracelet.
Long sleeve tapered to the wrist so it can be pushed up to stay in place (also called push-up).
Any long flowing sleeve. May extend longer than the arm.
