Different Types of Shirt

Shirt is a garment with a collar, cuff, and a full-length opening at the front from the collar to the hem. Shirt is a cloth garment for the upper body. Traditionally shirts were worn by men. Now a days women’s also ware shirt.
Different Types of Shirt:
There are different types of shirt worn by men and women. These are as follows:
1. Basic/ Simple/ Plain Shirt:
Generally we wear those shirts are called them basic/ simple/ shirt. In this shirt, there cannot be used another colored parts in order to making design.
When basic parts of a basic shirt are converted into many parts in order to make designs on it are called it classic shirt.
3. Classic contrast shirt:
It basic parts of a basic shirt are assembled with different colored parts in order to produce a design on the basic parts are called contrast shirt.
4. Pilot shirt:
Pilot shirt means that Air pilots usually wear those type of shirts are called pilots shirts, this type shirts contain a band on the shoulders and contain a flap on the chest pocket.
5. Cheek/ Stripe/ Print shirt:
Those fabrics contains drawing vertical wise or crosswise or contains different type of prints if shirts are made from the above mentioned fabrics. We call it cheek/ stripe/ print shirt.
6. Denim shirt:
Those shirts are made from denim fabric is called denim shirt. Generally denim fabrics contain indigo and black color shades.
7. Sleeveless shirt:
A sleeveless shirt is manufactured without sleeves, but all other parts are same as a basic shirt. Sleeveless shirts are worn by both men and women.
8. Twill shirt:
Generally twill fabrics are a little heavy. Diagonal lines are visible on the fabric surface. Shirts made from twill fabric is called twill shirt. Fabric composition is made from 100% natural cotton.
9. Night shirt:
Nightshirt is mainly wear for sleeping time. It is longer than regular shirts, reaching down to the thighs or below the knees, leaving some of the legs uncovered. Nightshirt is generally loose-fitting for the wearer’s comfortable movement while sleeping. Nightshirt shirts are worn by both men and women.
10. Camp shirt:
A loose, straight-cut, short sleeved shirt or blouse with a simple placket front-opening and a “camp collar.”
11. Dinner shirt:
A shirt specifically made to be worn with male evening wear, e.g. a Black tie or White tie.
12. Guayaberas shirt:
Guayaberas seen from the back, showing the alforza pleats and the Western-style yoke. It is also known as a “Wedding Shirt”. It is popular in Cuba, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and Africa.
13. Women’s shirt:
Women especially wear shirt in a professional setting. Women shirt has a collar and buttons in the front.This types of shirt are close fitted, back and front side darts are mainly use for fitting. Women’s shirt can also be long and short sleeved for seasons or occasions.
