Advertisements are a huge part of our everyday lives. We see different types of ads everywhere we look; while watching television, listening to the radio, riding on the bus and even walking around your school campus. It seems like the whole world is being flooded by advertisements.
Fashion advertising techniques have changed and along with it, the impact they have on each individual’s mind. While there are some similarities between the different kinds of advertisements we see today, there are also many differences. Products are turned into brands through advertising; in order for a product to be globally successful it has to be known worldwide. There are different ways products are distributed and consumed through advertising, which people interact with in different ways. Fashion advertising is a important tool of fashion promotion.
Messages in adverts are not forced on to its audience but produce a text for its audience who decide what to do with it, whether that be interpret the messages or leave it as intended. Not only does advertising have an effect in every institution in our society but it promotes different cultures, somewhat bringing cultures together based on the images it portrays.“people find ad’s manipulative and powerful, but advertisers themselves find people are sceptical and unpredictable in their responses.
So like other products fashion advertising is also very important in fashion industry. Fashion advertising is a branch within the advertising field that focuses on creating promotions for the fashion industry. Fashion is a hyper-competitive industry. The use of advertising in the fashion industry was started as early as in the Victorian period. Advertising is been very important to the fashion industry as its one way of reaching a mass group of people quickly, as fashion today is very competitive and need speed marketing. Fashion advertising is used from the high street fashion retailers to the low fashion retailers.
Advertising in this field includes ads for garments, purses, shoes, and similar products of fashion houses, along with high end perfumes.The goal of fashion advertising is to connect potential customers with the brand, as with other forms of advertising. As with other brands, fashion ads promote a lifestyle just as much as the product, teaching consumers to associate a particular brand with a specific lifestyle and social class.
Whether we make clothing from our home or own a store where we sell our own fashions, a big part of finding success with our own fashions is in the advertising.If we have a fashion business we’d like to promote, a marketing campaign that showcases our clothing can help build interest and sales.

This will bring people into the store for weeks before the show even begins as they come in for their fittings.

The Internet turns the entire planet into a potential customer base and becomes one of the most effective marketing tools we can have. We can Keep the site updated to include any sales or exclusive items.we can also Put a map on the site to make it easier for customers to find us.
It’s also important tool of fashion advertising to also promote our events, activities and sales on our store’s website, through our customer email list, on Twitter, Facebook and social networks.

Word of mouth is an effective way to market your fashions. Sell your fashion wherever you can and by doing this one can get more attention.

We shall have shied away from radio advertising, thinking the cost would be well over your budget and it may very well be if we were to advertise on commercial radio stations. The great thing is that they can reach our local market.
