If you want to get an actual measurement and a perfect look of a basic T-shirt, you have to know the right measurement procedure. You must know about the different parts of a basic T-shirt, that is the main part for a measurement procedure. But measurement procedure is different according to different types of  T-shirt styles. Measurement Process of t-shirt:

1. Body length:

Take measurement from collar seam to the bottom of hem.

2. Body width measured on half:

Take measured 1” below armhole from side to side.

3. Body sweep measured on half:

Take measured at the bottom from side to side.

4. Shoulder width:

Measured from shoulder point to shoulder point.

5. Neck width:

Measured from neck point to neck point.

6. Sleeve length:

Measured straight from top shoulder seam to sleeve end.

7. Sleeve width:

Measured 1” below armhole seam and measured straight across sleeve.

8. Sleeve opening:

Measured at opening with rib relaxed.

9. Armhole:

Take measurement on half along curve of sleeve seam.
